BCN Solutions Express (Booth 723) announced it is expanding its commitment to Web conferencing services.
The agency worked with conferencing vendor Genesys Conferencing (Booth 523) to launch a privately labeled online portal where users sign up for a conferencing account and schedule Web conferencing services.
Training for agents and their clients also will be provided from the Web site.
Tom McCrosson, CEO for BCN Solutions Express, said up until now the company has been offering Web conferencing on request, but now is seeing greater demand for the services among its commercial accounts.
We are finding more folks doing it, he said. We have been offering a successful voice conferencing service for many years, and our existing customer base has been looking to us for a Web solution. They look to us to integrate this new offering into our solution. This groundswell of demand as well as improvements in the technology have made the service more price competitive, further driving usage, he said.
Web conferencing a year ago would probably cost 40 percent more than what is being charged today, he said. [Vendors] are finding ways to streamline technology to deliver it at a better price.
BCN Solutions Express will offer Web conferencing for a flat per-minute rate with available volume discount plans. Agents are compensated on gross billing.
