RPM Software (Booth 522) has announced that AVAYA Carrier Services Solutions Group (CSSG) has standardized its back office on RPM solutions.
Last year, AVAYA replaced its internal system with RPM to fully manage commissions processing and presentation. Previously, AVAYA used one commercial system to manage telecom service quotes, another vendor system to manage orders, and an internally developed database to manage commissions.
Because of the success of the RPM deployment, AVAYA chose to utilize RPM for all its back-office processes related to CSSG. Due to RPMs ability to model existing business processes on-the-fly, CSSG has replaced its other two software offerings and now works with one fully integrated tool for all operations, saving thousands of dollars per month, according to RPM.
In addition, by using RPMs workflow automation capabilities, many of CSSGs existing processes have been streamlined and additional business processes modeled.
Overall, the RPM Professional Services Group successfully transferred 2 million data points of historical order information and thousands of related documents with no interruption to CSSGs back-office staff.
