American Telesis Debuts Two Programs

Channel Partners Conference & Expo sponsor American Telesis (Booth 123), which is a facilities-based carrier offering a complete suite of data and IP products across the United States and Canada, has announced two new programs: Low Price Guarantee and Enhanced Agent Training.

In order to provide the lowest-price solution, American Telesis has created an automated database designed to find the most competitive circuit routing. It then searches for the best rates available for that route. When the American Telesis network does not allow for the lowest rate, its software helps look at more than 250 local and IXC providers to help guarantee the best solution at the best price.

In addition, American Telesis says its Enhanced Agent Training is designed to help agents not only sell private lines, but also develop the networking solutions clients require to meet the demands of their businesses.

Qualifying questions and different sales approaches, including consultative selling techniques are covered in the training.

We are extremely pleased with our New Low Price Guarantee, said Monica J. Bauer, vice president of operations. This coupled with our consultative sales focus provides our agents with a winning combination of solution plus price! We encourage our agents to bring us their competitive opportunities.

Additionally, American Telesis has expanded its sales presence into Houston and Tulsa, Okla., and has expanded its workforce. Sales welcomed Johnnie Sage, who has been working in the telecom industry since 1986, with large corporations such as AT&T Inc. and Qwest Communications. American Telesis invites channel partners to take this opportunity to meet Sage at Booth 123.

Additionally, the maintenance organization added Anderson Ford to the team as senior network control engineer. His telecommunications technical skills were developed in the Marine Corps for eight years, and then strengthened at MCI testing FAA circuits. After five years there, he decided to make a change and gain additional experience installing servers, routers and networks.

We are excited about the consistent and continued growth here at American Telesis, Bauer concluded. We tailor solutions and enhance our portfolio by listening to the needs of customers and our network continues to be strengthened by increasing our partnerships with other providers. We believe our enhanced training program will increase the value we bring to the table and our price guarantee will help our agents be successful.
