Verio Inc., a subsidiary of NTT Communications and a provider of IP and managed hosting services, today released its Verio Reseller Business Tools, which help viaVerio resellers manage their businesses.
The company said the $29.95-per-month service helps VARs automate billing, accounting, reporting and other tasks more easily so they can spend more time on sales and customer service. For example, Reseller Business Tools simplifies order processing, optimizes product catalogs, accepts credit card payments and produces financial reports.
“As many hosting resellers’ businesses begin to grow, they often encounter roadblocks along the way and find themselves struggling under the weight of managing customer information, billing and payment processes and other tasks which must be performed each and every month, said Jim Ciampaglio, director of reseller sales for Verio. The [Reseller Business Tools] offering is intended to relieve this burden and free up resellers time to focus on the business itself not administrative tasks.
Resellers also can create and manage customer groups for customized mailings and e-mail promotions; enable customers to update their own contact and billing information; and track trouble tickets. Reseller Business Tools also integrates with Intuit QuickBooks Pro to automatically synchronize orders, payments, refunds and more.
For the first two months of service, Verio is offering the suite at no charge to viaVerio resellers.
