Cordia Corp., a Florida-based CLEC, has added E911 emergency calling services on its VoIP network.
The services work for Cordias U.S. customers and meet the FCCs mandate requiring all VoIP providers to offer reliable E911 calling, the company said on Tuesday.
Cordias IP Services development group has been able to successfully integrate E911 calling capabilities into Cordias VoIP network, said Joel Dupre, Cordias chairman and CEO. With todays deployment of E911, we can focus our efforts on the rapid and profitable growth of our VoIP service offerings in the United States.
Dupre said, in the next few weeks, Cordia will announce and roll out new IP services.
