AT&T Inc. today launched its Business Affiliate Network, a program that lets businesses and organizations earn commissions by promoting AT&T services on their Web sites.
Participants will earn commissions when visitors to their Web sites click the AT&T banner and buy a product or service. Joining the affiliate network is free.
The network initially will promote SBC Yahoo! DSL Business Edition, a high-speed Internet service that includes customizable business content, security software, expanded storage and network capabilities.
“The AT&T Business Affiliate Network will open an important new channel for AT&T companies and provide an exciting new opportunity for local governments, chambers of commerce, financial, medical and other business customers who have a large number of business Web site users,” said Frank Jules, senior vice president of AT&T Business Marketing, in a news release. “In the coming months, we will expand the program to include a range of AT&T products and services for small and mid-sized business customers.”
