Network services provider WV Fiber is using Hibernia Atlantics network to provide two OC-48-level services from New York to London to connect with LINX, Europes largest exchange point.
Since turning up the circuit to London a few weeks ago, WV Fiber has already added over 125 peers and are sending over two GigEs of traffic via Hibernia Atlantics secure network, says Peter Marcum, CEO for WV Fiber. With this connection, WV Fiber is now offering its existing transport, VPN, content delivery, and streaming media to hundreds of LINXs European ISPs and content delivery networks.
Hibernia Atlantic owns and operates the only direct transAtlantic cable route from the United States and Canada to Ireland and the UK.
