Texas-based CLEC Grande Communications has appointed Reid A. Fitzgerald as director of network sales and H. Lee Linton as director of Grande Business Solutions.
Fitzgerald oversees sales and marketing for the companys wholesale data and phone services. He also is responsible for budget allocation, business strategy and development, and direct sales of nationwide telecommunications services.
Prior to this role, Fitzgerald served as a carrier sales manager at Grande, where he was recognized as one of Grandes top sales performers and contractors.
Before he joined Grande, Fitzgerald was regional sales director in both the wholesale and CLEC markets at Qwest Communications International Inc., where he launched and managed an indirect and direct sales team. Before Qwest, Fitzgerald was vice president of sales and marketing at Linq Telecom Inc., and vice president of sales at Preferred Telecom Inc. in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Linton, meanwhile, has more than 10 years experience managing and directing telecommunications sales teams. Before Grande, Linton served as regional director for South and Central Texas for Birch Telecom, where he launched a bundled service communications program. Prior to Birch Telecom, Linton served as general manager for XO Communications in Austin and San Antonio.
