Financial details of the award were not disclosed.
The Calix C7 multiaccess platform is sold by Nortel as part of a strategic alliance the two vendors entered into in 2004. Sprint intends to deploy the C7 in its local network, with each platform supporting as many as 480 DSL or 1,280 BPON connections to residential and business customers.
