ILC (Booth 1335), a network management provider with more than 600 deployments worldwide, is launching into the broadband triple play network management arena, MaxView 5.0, which is on display this week at TELECOM 05 this week.
Wherever broadband services such as IPTV and VoIP are deployed, the question looms large of how to reliably and cost effectively manage the multi-technology networks on which they depend for service assurance. ILCs 5.0 release answers the question by managing literally any network device type, brand or technology, unifying broadband network management in one console.
With this tool, the company says, broadband service providers and managers of next-generation networks have the means to accelerate broadband service deployments and lower operational costs at the same time.
By acting as a manager of managers, MaxView fills glaring management gaps in broadband telecom networks that raise operational costs and drain profits out of triple play service delivery.
MaxView 5.0 works in tandem with existing network management system deployments, consolidating them into a single system with one worldview.
MaxView offers the following features:
end-to-end provisioning, automated scheduling and service activation
full control, rather than simple monitoring, of satellite, broadcast, IP, IT, ATM, optical, wireless, audio/video, SONET/SDH, radio, microwave, HVAC, facilities and more from one console
the ability to improve service reliability and mean time to repair with self-healing automation
the ability to integrate new equipment into the network management system in record time without software development
