CopperCom (Booth 1419) and Pannaway Technologies Inc. (Booth 1425) have completed interoperability testing of the companies products and will be delivering carrier-class SIP-based access and switching solutions to wireline service providers deploying next-generation communications services. CopperCom is the first nextgeneration switch vendor certified with Pannaways Primary Line VoIPSM solution.
The certification brings together CopperCom, a leader in next-generation softswitches for IOCs and CLECs, with Pannaway, a recognized leading provider of access products enabling converged broadband voice, video and data. CopperCom and Pannaway have conducted extensive interoperability tests at CopperComs state-ofthe-art Boca Raton Testing and Interoperability Lab. Joint deployments will be completed by years end.
CopperCom and Pannaway share a common vision for their customers: to build the next-generation network infrastructure to support revenue-generating services that significantly improve carrier business models.
CopperComs CSX softswitch allows service providers to replace legacy-switching equipment with a highly flexible and next-generation solution. Pannaways SCN solution is the industrys only end-to-end IP-based system capable of supporting both SIP and MGCP protocols. Together, the companies enable service providers to quickly and cost-effectively future-proof their investment for cutting-edge SIP-based service capabilities.
Were pleased to be working with an industry leader like CopperCom, says Mark Carpenter, vice president of business development at Pannaway. The synergies that exist with our joint product solutions, especially the use of SIP, will provide tremendous benefits to both of our customers moving forward.
SIP really opens the door for telcos and other VoIP providers to deliver revenue-generating, advanced calling capabilities, adds Bob Kersey, vice president of product management at CopperCom. More and more companies are choosing SIP and broadband all the way to the home. We are committed to working with all technologies that will enable our customers to build their businesses. In many ways, SIP is a bridge to the future. Together with Pannaway, we are able to help bring VoIP out of the early-adoption phase and into the mainstream.
