Peter D. Aquino, the company’s new president and CEO, says the group’s business is incremental revenue on top of RCN Corp.’s residential revenues. He also notes the business cable TV RCN is able to offer in light of its residential offer is “a nice thing to put in your bag that the others can’t.”
RCN, which had a scheduled bankruptcy running from May through December, in March was relisted on the NASDAQ following a major reorganization. The company reports it has achieved EBITDA of $46 million. “It’s a great place to be right out of bankruptcy,” says Aquino, adding the company even increased its guidance earlier this year. “We like where we are.”
