AuBeta Adds VAN, Seeks Partners

AuBeta Networks (Booth 913), which sells WANs over a private network, says it has bolstered its technology with new elements it is calling its Value Added Network, or VAN.

These elements centralize resources such as VPNs, remote management, process connectors, and so on, reducing costs, and improving availability, redundancy and performance, according to AuBeta. The company boasts a nationwide ATM network that imitates the features of a private network such as frame relay, but that also offers the cost benefits and flexibilities of an IP network.

AuBetas network is connected to ILEC and CLEC networks throughout the country. The company also has a virtual routing layer in the core of the network.

AuBeta runs partner programs for agents, VARs and platinum VARs. Agents earn monthly recurring commission for referring qualified clients who purchase the companys services. AuBeta closes the sale and handles the entire customer relationship including billing and support. AuBeta VARs earn annuity-based commissions on every sale, and must be involved in the sales. VARs earn higher monthly recurring commissions because they maintain the relationships with customers. Finally, AuBeta Platinum VARs accrue the greatest amount of monthly recurring commissions because, in addition to the VARs responsibilities, platinum VARs bill their own customers and provide their customers with Tier I technical support.

In addition to WANs, AuBeta also offers its channel partners Internet access, credit card authorization connectivity, dial backup, video security and storage and more.

AuBeta says it supports its solutions providers with around-the-clock technical support, full network design, implementation and management, and proactive network monitoring.
