X4 Goes All Out During Channel Partners Expo

Master agency X4 Communications (Booth 700), a sponsor of The Fall 2005 Channel Partners Conference & Expo, is going all out during the event.

For starters, every hour during exhibit hall hours, the company is giving away $100 in cash. Every attendee wearing an X4 loyalty band which X4 is handing out at its booth has a chance to win the money. X4 says the promotion is its way of thanking agents and others for wearing X4 orange and stopping by the companys booth.

Then, in conjunction with carrier and show sponsor Mpower Communications (Booths 415-417), X4 also is offering its solutions providers upfront bonus commissions. X4 and Mpower say the offer, totaling 200 percent of monthly recurring revenue, is in addition to high residuals. X4 is providing details at its booth.

In the meantime, X4 also is announcing it has hired a new senior vice president of sales. Curt Allen oversees carrier relationships, agency business development and education, new monthly sales, agent managers and national agent base expansion.

Allen comes to X4 from InterCall, where for the last six years as a manager he has worked with companies including Mass Mutual, John Hancock, MFS and Coca-Cola. He previously sold voice and data services for AT&T Corp.; there he earned the Gold Club Title Award for sales achievement.
