VoIP Inc. yesterday launched its VoiceOne Carrier Direct Program, allowing carriers to IP-enable their networks without having to make capital investments.
VoiceOne provides carriers with media gateways at no charge, and installs and connects them to the VoiceOne network, explains Shawn Lewis, VoIP Inc. CTO. This enables carriers to immediately begin selling IP-based services, such as hosted IP centrex, broadband voice, IP origination/termination, 800 service, CNAM, 911 services, etc. over the VoiceOne network.
VoIP Inc. also provides monitoring and support services through its network operations center.
The company further said this week it will expand its VoiceOne network to 48 more CLEC customers and cities. The growth will occur in the next 45 days.
