CBL Data Recovery Technologies Inc., a provider of computer data recovery services, has launched its online partner portal for companies participating in its Data Recovery Advantage (DRA) program.
The company made the announcement at CompTIA’s Annual Breakaway Conference in Las Vegas.
Online now at www.cblpartnerportal.com, the site gives VARs, OEMs, and information technology integrators and service providers tools for incorporating data recovery services into their portfolios. CBL partners using the DRA get 24-hour emergency service; the ability to private-label or co-brand services; an online project management system; and more.
“Services that address physical data recovery beyond back-up and restore software are the next step in the value chain that many resellers and integrators are looking to address,” says CBL CEO Bill Margeson. “Service providers particularly are faced with the challenge of trying to convert the expense of an on-site maintenance call by one of their technicians into a revenue generating opportunity. CBL’s DRA provides them with exactly that opportunity.”
“As our reliance on digital data continues to grow, both in business circles and our day-to-day activities, the impact of even a small data loss can have a ripple effect with unforeseen consequences,” Margeson notes. “This reliance not only creates new challenges but also new opportunities for our partners to provide a valuable, essential service to their customers, thereby solidifying those relationships and generating new sources of revenue.”
CBL has locations in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Barbados, England, Germany, China, Singapore, Japan and Australia.
