Grande Communications Chief Executive Bill Morrow has resigned after five years at the helm but will remain on the board of directors.
The board plans to name Scott Ferguson, an executive vice president and member of Grandes founding management team, as interim CEO while commencing a national search for a new chief executive.
Meanwhile, Morrow plans to support Grande for special projects, including representing the companys interest during the Texas legislative session and serving as a member of the board of directors, San Marcos, Texas-based Grande announced.
Grande sells Internet access, local and long-distance phone service, cable television and wireless home security services to consumers and businesses in Texas and delivers national network services to enterprises and communications providers.
