Microsoft Corp. today announced the Communications Sector Alliance Program (CSAP) so service providers can develop new technologies for customers by working with Microsoft teams. The program is offered through the Microsoft Partner Solutions Center (MPSC).
Bell Canada and Swisscom Mobile, Switzerlands largest mobile operator, already have signed on to the program.
Bell Canada says it will create integrated services for SMB customers. The company will offer DSL Internet connectivity, data backup, security features and around-the-clock support with subscription-based Microsoft Office 2003 software and Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2005 services.
Swisscom Mobile will use Microsoft resources to bolster mobile users experiences with its Microsoft-based products.
