Service provider PowerNet Global Communications said today it has introduced local and long-distance phone service bundles for residential customers in Georgia, New Jersey and Ohio. The company is marketing the services through its channel partners.
Todays news follows similar recent announcements for Florida, Indiana, Michigan, New York and Texas.
Even though some players have left the market in the wake of UNE-P, the complexity of choices out there for consumers can still be overwhelming, said Larry Moses, executive vice president of sales, in a statement. Weve found our customers respond to the simplicity, value and support built into our services, and these local and long-distance bundles are a direct response to that.
Packages for users in Georgia start at $23.33 for unlimited local calls and 30 minutes of monthly domestic long-distance. In New Jersey, services cost as little as $12.33 for unlimited local calls and 30 minutes of monthly domestic long-distance. For Ohio, pricing starts at $19.33 for the same access as Georgia and New Jersey.
