VoIP products and services provider i2Telecom International Inc. said today it has appointed James R. Fultz as president and COO of the company. He also has joined the company’s board of directors.
Fultz, 45, served as president and CEO of a number of silicon valley venture-funded telecom technology companies, from December 2000 until December 2004. He previously served as executive vice president of Antec Corp.
“As president and COO, [Jim] will focus on operations and strategic initiatives at i2Telecom, including the expansion of our sales and partnering activities, said Paul Arena, CEO of i2Telecom, in a statement. His extensive international experience in the telecom industry, specifically in China and the EU, will play a critical role in optimizing i2Telecom’s global partnership opportunities.
Fultz has served on the Cable Positive board of directors, the National Cable Television Association rules and regulation committee, and the Society of Cable Television Engineers regional board of directors.
