Blue Wireless & Data Inc. announced it will sell VoIP services under a joint venture with Interlink Global Corp. to Blue Wireless customers in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex where it owns 8,900 square miles of high-speed wireless Internet networks.
Under the terms of the agreement, Blue Wireless will provide wireless and wired systems with broad coverage and broadband connectivity as required. Blue Wireless also will provide marketing and sales in its current coverage area which presently reaches approximately 510,000 households across North Texas, as well as Tier 1 technical support and installation services.
Interlink Global will provide the infrastructure in Miami and Santiago, Chile, to host all services required by the joint venture. This includes technical and engineering know-how and support, marketing, testing and supplying of hardware and software for the VoIP infrastructure and the customer side. The services consist of, but are not limited to, all customary services provided by Interlink Global, and in addition, prepaid calling card access to VoIP from any telephone without the necessity of using a PIN, and international access for calling cards.
To implement this joint venture, a new company will be incorporated in Delaware. This partnership will be divided into equal shares between Interlink Global and Blue Wireless & Data Incorporated. It is anticipated that when fully implemented, the joint venture will recognize annual revenues in excess of $250,000 per year.
Interlink has similar joint ventures with various infrastructure and media companies, such as TSD Telecomunicaciones of Guatemala, C.A. and Metropolis 1039, of Maracaibo, Venezuela, S.A. Interlink Global provides SIP-based broadband telephony solutions, Wi-Fi, WiMax, Marine Satellite Services, calling cards, and other enterprise services internationally.
