Pioneer Telephone (Booth 207), a show sponsor, says itwill keep seeking new wholesale customers for its Pioneer Express, which the company released a year ago at the Spring 2004 Channel Partners show.
Through agents, the companys Pioneer Express provides network, provisioning, billing and regulatory services in one turnkey package, which means startup private-label service providers can minimize costs. Pioneer Telephone says channel partners have the opportunity to make up to 22 percent commission.
As it seeks new customers for Pioneer Express, Pioneer Telephone says it is buying Excel switches so it can provide more effective routing as well as cost savings. The company says this will enable up to 10-digit routing, international and enhanced toll-free termination and routing, find-me/follow-me applications and more.
Pioneer Telephone also says it recently added WilTel Communications and Sprint Corp. to its offerings, giving agents more vendors to offer to their clients.
