PAETEC Communications Inc. (Booths 401-403), a show sponsor, is adding training to its agent program, saying an educated sales force is key to growing a business.
PAETEC will certify its agents by training them in a number of ways, including over the Web, in the classroom and through hands-on help.
Each month, the carrier is hosting a Webinar on a timely topic. The sessions alternate between product and process, and are designed with the agent in mind, PAETEC says.
Whether the focus is on how to more effectively use WebFront, PAETECs online information portal, or describing the companys MPLS product, the Webinars provide overviews and detailed information specific to an agents needs, according to the company.
PAETEC also has launched a program to train agents new to its channel. The Fast Start program teaches agents about PAETEC and its processes, products and services. The aim, says PAETEC, is for Fast Start to reduce greatly the traditional ramp-up time for new agents, which translates to more business and revenue for agents.
