American Telesis Announces Managed Services

American Telesis Inc. (Booth 334), a show sponsor, has launched a managed services package for its dedicated Internet product, available via the companys agent and reseller channels.


This is an exciting time, says Monica Bauer, vice president of operations at American Telesis. We completed the testing of our managed services offering and are thrilled with the results. We are certain that our agents, resellers and clients will feel confident, safe and secure utilizing this new service.


American Telesis managed service for dedicated Internet includes hardware and software, continuous performance monitoring and smart routing capabilities. American Telesis will take over the administration of customers Internet service, so they can focus on their business, without the concerns they previously had administering their Internet connections. The facilities-based carrier, which specializes in providing private lines and specialized voice circuits across the United States and Canada, says the product was developed in response to customer demand.


Listening to the needs of telecommunication users is crucial, says Bauer. It is essential for us to provide our customers the right mix of services but ensure that we are continuing to support the products with the same high level of service.


American Telesis, now with offices in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City and Washington D.C., also has added Polly Davidson to its provisioning department. Davidson has expertise in customer communication. Finance and accounting gained Kyle Boyd, while Shannon Shelton joined the operations division.


Joseph Tokar brings technical knowledge of routers, database and network design to the network operations group.
