The Conference Group (Booth 331), a privately owned conferencing bureau, is introducing new online tools to support agents with provisioning through an agent resource center (ARC).
Last year, the Conference Group unveiled a provisioning system that allowed end users to obtain pass codes 24 hours per day through an online application. The agent resource center is an extension of that system.
With this [provisioning] system, our agents found their client bases growing without incremental effort on their part, but the majority of our provisioning continued to be initiated by the agent rather than the consumer, says Greg Plum, alternate channel manager with the Conference Group.
Plum says that is what prompted the Conference Group to expand its resources to include the agent resource center. The ARC will provide agents with presentations to help them with the sales process and offer a tool to submit a client directly to the Conference Group for accounting provisioning.
