TelePacific Expands Service Footprint for Telepartners

TelePacific Communications (Booths 225-227) is expanding its local market coverage across California in 2005, which allows TelePacific and its agents to serve an even greater number of business customers with local and long-distance voice, dedicated Internet access, private networking and data transport services as well as bundled voice and Internet solutions.

The expansion will increase the companys local presence in Californias Central Valley, including Bakersfield, Chico, Fresno, Modesto, Sacramento and Stockton.

The expansion comes on the heels of TelePacifics acquisition of the small and medium enterprise customer base of Pac-West Telecomm. The purchase price for the acquisition was $27 million cash and a transition services agreement. TelePacific acquired all of Pac-Wests small and medium business accounts, which are based in California and Nevada. TelePacific now operates with more than 325,000 lines in service, and will be expanding its optical and digital networks into Californias Central Valley to service the new customers. This expansion into the Central Valley will accelerate TelePacifics organic growth capabilities and allow greater numbers of California businesses to access cost-effective data and voice communications solutions with TelePacifics high-quality network.

TelePacific recognizes the Central Valley as a vital market, and as an opportunity for a competitive carrier that caters to small and medium businesses, says Ken Bisnoff, vice president of strategic opportunities. These new markets represent our continued growth and stability in the Western region.

With one of the largest California footprints available, Telepartners are able to pursue single and multilocation accounts aggressively within the state of California.

As more businesses throughout California and Nevada are taking advantage of our world-class service, continued expansion in California strengthens TelePacifics footprint and provides essential, cost-effective communications options for businesses, says TelePacifics CEO and President Dick Jalkut.

Our expansion is a clear indication of the success TelePacific has achieved and our commitment to increase the number of customers we serve throughout California and Nevada. We are excited to be fulfilling the critical telecommunications needs of our customers and look forward to offering more and more businesses our advanced, competitive and customized solutions.
