Paradigm Vision (Booth 218), a New York-based communications company, is launching FOCUS Business-Optimized Video Conferencing at this weeks Channel Partners Conference & Expo.
FOCUS is an IP video conferencing system for business use. Participants need only a computer, broadband Internet connection and a telephone to join secure meetings. Users also can control a camera to pan a room and zoom in on selected areas, or to take snapshots of frames to store or send via e-mail. Desktop applications such as Microsoft Corp.s PowerPoint and Excel can be shared during meetings, as can archived files and streamed resources. FOCUS allows meetings to be recorded for later or repeated use.
Video quality is outstanding the camera can hone in on a dime from across the room and you can read the date on it, says FOCUS founder Fred Newman. Voice connection utilizes highly developed bridging platforms for equally impressive audio delivery.
Paradigm has started distributing FOCUS through a select group of agents, and plans to use other traditional sales channels as well.
The company offers a commission and incentive-based pay plan, and will announce the details during the Channel Partners show.
