AccessLine Communications (Booth 445) has announced two new services for the companys channel partners: EnterpriseConference, a low-cost IP conferencing service, and SmartVoice, a flagship VoIP service.
Designed and built as an IP conferencing solution, EnterpriseConference enables agents and resellers to offer their customers a 50 percent savings over todays conferencing rates, says the company.
The service combines toll-free, local and IP conferencing into a single conference call. It supports both scheduled and reservationless conferencing, and includes Web-based reservations and account administration tools for the end user.
AccessLines EnterpriseConference service can mimic the conferencing interface of existing or legacy conferencing systems and services, and all service features and options are fully configurable.
For example, the specific telephone keypad menu commands used by the host to control the conference can be configured at a class-of-service level. In many cases, resellers would like to transition customers off an older, less capable, more costly conferencing system, but are concerned about the impact on existing users who would have to learn an entirely new user interface. EnterpriseConference addresses this issue by allowing the reseller to migrate customers onto AccessLines service platform without changing the basic user interface with which existing customers are familiar. To the end user, this can be a nearly transparent transition.
Meanwhile, SmartVoice does not require the replacement of current PBXs and analog phones with new equipment and capital investment, since it is a hosted and managed service. AccessLine says users will save up to 50 percent on local, long-distance, international and on-net calling for the latter, all calls between a businesss offices are free.
The users choice of next-generation VoIP features includes conference calling, unified messaging, virtual receptionist functionality, follow-me number functionality, toll-free, disaster recovery, Web and phone-accessible voice mail, and fax management.
Both services are available with an aggressive agent and reseller program, AccessLine notes, with Web-based provisioning tools and APIs, automated CDRs, optional billing services, first-, second- and third-level customer support, and a variety of sales support tools and collateral. A Web management tool called the SmartVoice Service Builder was designed specifically for resellers and agents to simplify and streamline the setup and provisioning of customers and related service support activity, including adds, deletes, changes, billing, customer care and feature customization by customer or employee.
The two new services are built on AccessLines nationwide, managed and hosted, IP-based On Demand Voice Services network, which has a software-based softswitch network architecture.
