Following the acquisition of Pure Connection, Progress Telecom (Booth 710) this week announced the launch of a new T1 wireless local loop service in Orlando, Fla.
The service provides customers with a reliable end-to-end solution that gives them the capability to reach their target destinations. Using both traditional T1 services and scalable 3mbps to 10mbps links, Progress Telecom is providing customers with a flat-rate offering that gives them point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless connections that grow as their bandwidth needs increase.
Our customers now have the ability to reach the last mile using a technically advanced yet economical alternative, says Ron Mudry, president and CEO of Progress Telecom. We wanted to provide our customers with a complete solution while saving them money. With the acquisition of Pure Connection, a fixed wireless operator, it gives our customers the advantage of using a combined fiber-based and wireless Ethernet solution that allows them to reach the edge.
