Culminating a road show promoting IP VPNs, New Edge Networks (Booth 105) is presenting the final seminar of the series during this weeks CompTel/ASCENT show. New Edge CEO Dan Moffat was on the road in major U.S. cities throughout September teaching agents why VPNs are hot now, and the revenue opportunities the technology promises.
The free breakfast seminar, Very Profitable Networks: Why Selling VPN Means Big Money for Your Business, will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 2 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress with breakfast served at 9:30 a.m.
The seminar is targeted to systems integrators, independent sales organizations, telecom agents and consultants.
According to New Edge Networks (Booth 105), participants will hear independent analysis on a market opportunity worth $10 billion; details on an innovative and simple new method for building multilocation data networks; and proprietary documents about specific VPN and frame relay products, market realities and the best prospects for every network technology.
Presenters include Dan Moffat, CEO and CompTel/ASCENT board member; Greg Griffiths, vice president of marketing and product development; and Bruce Kern, senior product manager.
According to the seminar curriculum, selling VPN service is more lucrative than selling a VPN appliance. New Edge Networks cites research from Infonetics Research that says for every dollar spent on VPN products, roughly 10 dollars are spent on VPN services.
