Access One Inc. (Booths 403-405) is expanding its alternate channel program with the addition of regionally focused channel managers, starting with the West and Midwest regions of the country.
Frank Stepczyk, of the Access One Los Angeles office, has been promoted to director of alternate channels. Stepczyk will concentrate on expanding the western region through new hires and increased sales.
In addition, National Director of Sales Ken Gilbert, who is based in Chicago, has taken on the task of building the Midwest alternate channel. Gilbert plans to hire four new agent managers in Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit and Cleveland. All four positions are expected to be filled by the end of the fourth quarter.
These agent managers will create customized Access One programs for traditional master agencies, systems integrators, VARs and SBC distributors, says Stepczyk. Each agent manager will be charged with serving eight to 10 producing agent partners, he adds.
According to the company, growing the alternate channel will not only include recruiting new agents but offering a new level of accountability to existing partners.
The increased activity will create more sales support positions and a higher level of partner support, says Stepczyk. This support will include SLAs on quote requests; advanced funnel reporting, advanced assistance with order submittal, and an increase in automated systems.
