Mpower Communications Corp. (Booth 607) has announced a new promotion doubling the upfront payment to agents selling T1, PRI and trunk products.
Provided agents meet minimum revenue requirements, they can earn upfront payments of up to 233 percent of monthly recurring revenue, plus an additional 125 percent of long-distance usage, according to Rochester, N.Y.-based Mpower. That compensation is in addition to residual payments.
"Combined with our recently announced ‘Take Stock in Mpower’ program where agents can earn warrants for Mpower stock by hitting certain performance thresholds, Mpower is pulling out all the stops to reward agents for their business," says Jim Ferguson, president of sales and marketing for Mpower.
In December, Mpower launched a program offering agents options to buy shares in the CLEC in exchange for increasing monthly recurring revenue. Agents receive warrants when they boost their monthly billing by $10,000.
