Show sponsor InfoHighway Communications Corp. (Booth 301) is extending its first quarter promotion on voice T1 circuits and ISDN PRIs with unlimited local and regional calling options. The promotion, code ACSM4, now expires May 31.
The service provider is offering customers a $50 credit per month for the first 12 months of service on either of these circuits, which are provisioned on local networks as a diverse service alternative to the RBOCs. There is a one-year minimum service commitment.
The "Unlimited Local" package for a monthly recurring charge of $749 after the credit offers end users unlimited dial tone via T1 or ISDN, plus regional and interstate long-distance usage at .039 cents per minute. The "Unlimited Local and Regional" bundle adds unlimited regional usage to the package, which runs $849 after the $50 credit. Full Internet T1s also are available at $649 in some areas.
There is a $399 one-time installation charge on all circuits. "Unlimited calling" applies to outgoing calls only, and directory and operator assistance calls are not included.
Agents can sell all of InfoHighway’s local, long-distance and Internet services, and it offers one-time spiffs and monthly residuals ranging from 5 percent to 25 percent. Approximately 85 percent of InfoHighway sales are executed through its agent program, which has been in existence since 1993.
