Partner Series - Business-Grade Triple Play: How to Leverage Your Network for Voice and Data

Available: On Demand
Speakers: Eric Beller, VP Channel Sales, MegaPath; Joel Thomas, Solutions Engineer, MegaPath

Voice is becoming one of the most mission-critical applications being deployed on enterprise networks today, but guaranteeing its quality and security is a challenge. QoS, CoS, MPLS and SLAs may seem like VPN alphabet soup that only network engineers appreciate, but when deployed can make all the difference to your business customers’ satisfaction with their WAN applications.

Here’s why: Ensuring Quality of Service for WAN applications like voice is increasingly critical. Meeting customers’ required Service Level Agreements is aided by deploying Virtual Private Networks based on Multiprotocol Label Switching, which has the capability of supporting Classes of Service for different types of network traffic.

The key takeaways for channel partners is that MPLS VPN service:
•enables multilocation business customers to squeeze more value of the network dollars they are spending by combining voice and data services over the same network.
•is an affordable method of assuring dynamic management of voice and data network traffic and protecting it from the risks of the public Internet.
•is a good fit for the increasing numbers of business with distributed workforces that need to provide secure connections to mobile and remote employees.

For all of these reasons and more, MPLS is becoming a key consideration in comparing network options and service providers that channel partners need to understand.

In this webinar, channel partners will:
*Learn about the quality and security characteristics of MPLS VPNs
*Understand how voice quality is ensured over an MPLS VPN
*Discover how to position MPLS for voice application sales
*Identify potential prospects for voice over MPLS
*Review a sample customer deployment
