Backup and data-protection provider Intronis has expanded its channel leadership team with two new hires.
The first is Chris Crellin, the company’s new vice president of product management.
Crellin comes to Intronis from fellow backup provider Datto, where he was responsible for product strategy and execution of the company’s cloud-to-cloud backup portfolio after it acquired Backupify. Before his work with Backupify and Datto, Crellin spent 14 years with RSA, EMC’s security division, where he was product manager for the RSA SecurID portfolio.
As Intronis product management VP, Crellin is responsible for leading product strategy and management.
Prior to working for Backupify, and then Datto, Chris spent 14 years with RSA, the Security Division of EMC, where he served as the product manager for the RSA SecurID portfolio. In his role as VP of Product Management for Intronis, Chris is responsible for leading product strategy and management.
“Chris is a channel leader and visionary with a strong record of successfully developing product strategy and driving execution from concept to delivery," says Rick Faulk, CEO of Intronis. “His experience in the data protection and security industries is invaluable and will enable us to move faster and to further differentiate Intronis in the marketplace."
Also new at Intronis is Scott Graham, who will serve as vice president of IT and operations.
Graham’s experience includes developing and implementing cloud-based solutions. Most recently at First Marblehead Bank, Graham created a SaaS platform that connected major banks with applicants online and enabled them to make student-loan decisions in seconds. He also has held senior management positions at Avid Technology, Quantum Bridge, and 3Com.
In his new role at Intronis, Graham will oversee the strategic development and execution of the company’s internal IT initiatives, R&D and operations.
“Scott’s 25 plus years of experience running IT organizations for high-growth companies combined with his cloud strategic, results-driven leadership are an ideal fit for Intronis," said Faulk. “We’re thrilled to welcome Scott and Chris to the Intronis team and leverage their expertise to expand and enhance our road map, execute against our growth strategy, and deliver an exceptional partner experience."
Intronis invites partners to get exclusive resources selling its ECHOplatform through its channel program, “built to help MSPs success selling a data protection strategy." The platform is available to IT service providers for a flat cost every month on the company’s unlimited “U2 Plan" pricing.
