tw telecom, the business Ethernet and networking solutions provider being acquired by Level 3 Communications, is now offering service to customers in Boston.

The company is deploying its portfolio of data and Internet solutions, including its Business Ethernet and Intelligent Network capabilities, to connect enterprise customers across Beantown to their local and national destinations.

tw telecom now has agreements with Boston area data center providers to provide networking solutions to their facilities' tenants.

The Boston expansion is part of a national multi-market effort by tw telecom to expand its metro fiber footprint across the country. In addition to Boston, tw telecom has previously entered three other new markets – Salt Lake City, Philadelphia and Richmond, Va. – in 2014, and plans to offer services in Cleveland later this year.
