Informa, one of the world’s leading knowledge providers to individuals, businesses and organizations, is pleased to announce that Lauri Saft, director for IBM’s Watson Ecosystem, will be a keynote at Cloud Partners, a Channel Partners event, Sept. 8-10, in New Orleans.

Lauri’s keynote address, “Big Ideas for a Higher Cloud: The Cognitive Revolution in Advanced Computing," will focus on IBM’s vision for solving new challenges with Watson, Big Blue’s 21st century cognitive computing platform and how putting Watson’s capabilities in the cloud will allow the world’s greatest thinkers to bring their most pressing questions to it.

"Cloud Partners is designed to bring together innovative companies and innovative solution providers together in one place," said Katherine Clements, vice president of the Cloud & Communications Network at Informa Exhibitions, LLC. “We are thrilled to have Lauri as a keynote presenter to share her ideas about how the cloud may have a role in providing answers to life’s most vexing questions."

More than 3,000 channel partners – VARs, agents, systems integrators and MSPs – and their suppliers are expected to attend Cloud Partners, where the focus will be on delivering a “higher cloud" that creates strategic business value for customers.

In addition to keynote presentations from cloud industry leaders, Cloud Partners will feature an extensive education program focused exclusively on cloud service opportunities for solutions providers as well as vendor presentations, selling techniques luncheons, unique networking events and an expo hall with more than 100 innovative cloud vendors.

Cloud Partners will take place Sept. 8-10, 2014, at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. For more information about the show and to register, go to http://cloud.channelpartnersconference.com
