Retarus Inc. is launching its channel program with the appointment of a longtime telecom and software insider.

The company has been making electronic corporate communications platforms since 1992, and now specializes in cloud-based messaging services for businesses. As a result, Retarus has named Jamie Duff as its first-ever director of channel and wholesale division for Retarus North America.

Duff has spent 15 years in direct and indirect channel sales, management and training. He has worked for companies including Broadview Networks, Qwest Communications, Stafford Technology and John Galt Solutions.

At Retarus, he is tasked with overseeing the development and growth of the indirect channel. He’ll target top telecom master agencies as part of that process, Retarus said.

Expect more details from Retarus about its channel program at the upcoming Cloud Partners Conference & Expo in New Orleans.

Retarus boasts customers including Adidas, Bayer, Lufthansa and Sony.
