Proofpoint Expands Office 365 Opportunities, Intros New Security Suite

MICROSOFT WORLDWIDE PARTNER CONFERENCE — Security-as-a-service provider Proofpoint has expanded its Proofpoint Affiliate Program for Microsoft partners to address channel offerings for enterprises that want to migrate to Microsoft Office 365.

The company announced the availability of Proofpoint Security and Compliance Suite for Office 365. The cloud-based solutions provide threat protection, global regulatory compliance and comprehensive eDiscovery capabilities for organizations migrating to Microsoft Office 365. Microsoft partners interested in offering the new Proofpoint suite to companies can do so through a referral business model.

Our new Proofpoint Security and Compliance Suite for Office 365 enhances the capabilities of Microsoft Office 365 with necessary cloud protection and compliance technology."

Featured enhancements to the Proofpoint Security and Compliance Suite for Office 365 include targeted spear-phishing attack and zero-day malware prevention; search and legal discovery across non-Microsoft document types; regulated data retention for SEC and FINRA compliance; and more.
