Arkadin Unveils Total Connect for Microsoft Lync Environments

Arkadin on Tuesday debuted its Microsoft Lync hosted service, Total Connect.

The platform is available now – through channel partners, too – in North America, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Other countries will be added later this year.

Arkadin said Total Connect provides a fully integrated UC ecosystem with Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint. Services including instant messaging, presence, phone calls, audio/web/video conferencing, shared workspaces and email work with Arkadin’s hosted telephony.

The Microsoft integration was made possible by Arkadin’s purchase of implement.com earlier this year. Total Connect is offered in a shared cloud environment, which tends to be more affordable for small to mid-sized organizations. A private cloud model also is available for large businesses that require services such as consulting, customization, enhanced security and more.

Total Connect is offered in three bundles with Arkadin’s phone systems:

  • Arkadin Total Connect Pro: Offers a UC package with all functionality for organizations without an existing UC platform.
  • Arkadin Total Connect for Office 365: Targeted at companies with Microsoft Office 365 that want to extend their UC capabilities with more advanced features and telephony.
  • Arkadin Total Connect Lync Expansion: For organizations with on-premises Lync that want to expand their user base through a hosted approach.
