TelePacific Promotes Barthalt in Texas

TelePacific Communications said this week it has promoted John Barthalt to run operations in northern Texas.

TelePacific's John BarthaltTelePacific, which once focused just on serving businesses in California and Nevada, recently expanded to Texas with the 2011 purchase of Telwest Network Services Corp.

Barthalt started at TelePacific last year as sales director and now assumes the rule of general manager for a large portion of the Lone Star State. He has worked in the telecom industry for 20 years, at companies including One Source Networks, Genesys/InterCall, Airband Communications, Ionex/Birch Communications and Qwest Communications International Inc.

Within the past year, TelePacific has opened four new offices throughout Texas.
