Cloud Partners Announces First Digital Summit

PHOENIX – VIRGO, an information distribution company focused on the most innovative and complex business-to-business markets that fuel the U.S. and world economies, is pleased to announce that Channel Partners will host its first Cloud Partners Digital Summit, “Creating Business Models for Recurring Revenue," on July 16, 2014, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. (EDT).

This free, online event, underwritten by Comcast Business, is designed for value-added resellers (VARs) that are seeking successful strategies for building a recurring revenue business.

"We are excited to host a Cloud Partners Digital Summit for our Channel Partners audience," said Katherine Clements, vice president of the Cloud & Communications Network at VIRGO. “This unique format is an opportunity for VARs to learn best practices and advice from VARs who already have transitioned their businesses to recurring revenue models."

The two-hour event features three sessions, beginning with a tutorial on the seven basics of recurring revenue, presented by TC Doyle, executive editor for IT/Cloud at Channel Partners. This will be followed by a Q&A with Comcast Business Channel Chief Craig Schlagbaum on leveraging carrier and cloud services to build recurring revenue. Finally, Doyle will host a roundtable discussion with three VARs: Trey Anderson, manager partner at Rescue Communications, Pete Hendrix, chief client advocate at Integritec and Fermin Perez, director of carrier sales at Copper State Communications.

Digital Summit participants can view the video sessions in real-time on July 16 or on-demand for 90 days.
