Cbeyond, which is in the process of being acquired by Birch Communications, says its TotalCloud Phone System (TCPS) is now available to SMBs nationwide.

TCPS is a cloud-based managed voice and communications platform. Cbeyond says it’s now able to deliver high-performance, cost effective managed voice and communication services to SMBs across virtually any broadband network connection.

"With a newly expanded national sales force, we can now make our cloud solutions available anywhere in the U.S.," said Bill Thomson, senior director, product management, voice and unified communications services at Cbeyond.

Launched in 2012, TotalCloud Phone System offers advanced calling and routing features that Cbeyond says help employees become more productive, efficient and reachable regardless of work location. The hosted phone service also reduces initial equipment expenditures and the ongoing labor and support costs of maintaining a traditional, on-premises phone system.

As part of this new initiative, Cbeyond is also offering its Communications on the Go solution, which bundles several Cbeyond products and features: TotalCloud Phone System, Cbeyond Communicator (for desktop and mobile) and Cbeyond Mobile. Communications on the Go extends the power of TotalCloud Phone System to smartphones and computers, and provides customers with a seamlessly integrated solution for mobile workers at a bundled price, the company said.

Cbeyond's cloud services for SMBs are sold through all of the company's sales channels, including its extensive channel partner network.
