XO Gives Customers New Online Portal

XO Communications on Monday launched myXO, its new customer service and support portal.

The tool provides role-based personalization, service request and order status, feature management, and network performance and usage information. There also are APIs that integrate VoIP calling functions.

myXO is accessible from almost any device – including iOS- and Android-based tablets and smartphones – and comes with a call-back option to reduce time spent on hold.

The launch of myXO comes several days after the service provider confirmed that is has a new channel chief in Bill Hooper, a former CenturyLink executive.
