Conferencing and collaboration giant InterCall will soon market and resell NextPlane's UC Exchange service to complement its own UC offerings, which include mobile and premise-based video conferencing, IM and presence, multi-party chat and voice integration.

InterCall says its expertise includes the design and deployment of sophisticated UC implementations, incorporating on-premise, hosted and hybrid solutions.

"InterCall has a solid reputation for delivering advanced Unified Communications solutions to their customers," NextPlane CEO Farzin Shahidi said. “In a globally connected world where B2B collaboration is a must, InterCall can now enable its customers to easily engage with their partners and to build collaborative communities around their business ecosystem."

The NextPlane UC Exchange is a fast-growing, cloud-based community of federation-ready organizations that is powered by a secure, any-to-any UC federation service.
