GENBAND Makes Changes to Partner Advantage Program

GENBAND this week announced changes to its Partner Advantage Program so resellers may more easily access tools and resources as they sell UC equipment and platforms.

To that point, there’s a new partner portal, and more benefits including discounts, training and co-marketing support. Partner Advantage also now features four tiers: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Program benefits include the following:

  • Sales and technical training, including special events
  • Tiered discounts based on partner level; these are intended to improve margins, reduce sales cycles and increase overall profitability
  • Co-op marketing funds for co-branded advertising campaigns, events and other joint marketing plans
  • Incentive campaigns and “spiff" programs

Partners in all tiers have full access to the new partner portal, which houses sales materials, data sheets, videos and webinars. The portal further will include a downloadable mobile application.

Nearly 75 companies around the world have joined the GENBAND Partner Advantage Program, including Arrow S3, Black Box and Westcon.

GENBAND has moved in recent years to target enterprises, not just service providers. As part of that shift, the Texas-based company has developed a WebRTC-enabled UC product called Smart Office 2.0, for business users.
