Windstream Takes Channel Pricing Mobile

Windstream on Tuesday released a new pricing tool for channel partners.

The tool works on tablets and smartphones, and is compatible with all operating systems. Partners and channel managers may review, edit and save quotes in the system; there's also the ability to generate multilocation quotes.

"Created as a result of direct feedback from our channel partner advisory board, this new pricing tool reduces the need for management and monitoring of quoting activity by the channel managers," Lauren Weatherly, director of channel marketing at Windstream, said in a press release.

Matt Preschern, senior vice president and enterprise CMO at Windstream, agreed.

"This pricing tool was designed to eliminate unnecessary review steps, increase efficiencies and accelerate the quoting process," he said. "This new tool assists our partners in closing on-the-spot deals."

The application is available now, free of charge. Windstream also has made the tool available via an API for partners who have their own interfaces.
