Collaboration services provider ClearOne on Tuesday said it has finalized its Spontania acquisition.

Final financial terms of the deal, announced in January, were not disclosed. However, earlier reports pegged the transaction at $5 million, with ClearOne saying it would pay cash for Spontania and assume no debt. Spontania was owned by Dialcom Networks, based in Spain.

Spontania adds cloud videoconferencing to ClearOne, giving ClearOne a mix of products for partners to sell.

“With the acquisition of Spontania, ClearOne now offer its partners and end users a clear choice between public cloud, private cloud, and on-premise solutions, replacing the need for expensive infrastructure," said Zee Hakimoglu, chairman and CEO of ClearOne, in a press release.

ClearOne's Spontania portfolio is available solely through partners, either as PaaS or SaaS.
