Nokia expects its sale of substantially all of its Devices & Services business to Microsoft, as well as the licensing of its patents, to close in April.

When Nokia first announced the transaction in September of 2013, the company expected it to close in the first quarter. Despite the delay, Nokia and Microsoft say they remain committed to the transaction.

The closing is subject to regulatory approvals, most of which Nokia and Microsoft have already received, such as approvals from the European Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice; however, the transaction still needs approval from certain antitrust authorities in Asia, which are still conducting their reviews.
