Yorktel Hires Former Internap President, CEO

Yorktel has hired a former executive of Internap Network Services Corp.

Yorktel's Jim DeBlasioOn Wednesday, the MSP said Jim DeBlasio, who served as president and CEO of Internap from late 2005 to early 2009, now is executive vice president of operations. DeBlasio has worked in the mobility, optical, software and Internet services industries for more than 30 years.

“We are very excited to have someone with Jim‘s tenure and experience onboard; his extensive track record speaks for itself," said Ron Gaboury, CEO of Yorktel.

DeBlasio marks Yorktel's fourth upper-level hire over the past year. The company in 2013 also named a vice president of business development for the public sector, a vice president of commercial sales for the Western region and a director of managed services.  

“This is truly an exciting time for Yorktel," Gaboury said.

Yorktel specializes in video managed services and UC&C. It serves enterprises and government agencies worldwide.
